Tell us the two addresses and whether stairs or a gate code are involved, and Renee starts building your number the same afternoon.

Filling this out costs nothing, nobody rings you three times before dinner, and no mystery fee shows up on move day. Your request goes directly to our Walnut St office — Epic Movers staff answer it, not a national booking line.

A regional van line paid Wade Hutchins to run crews out of a Commerce City terminal for seven years, right after he grew up a few miles away in RiNo.

The same problem kept surfacing on jobs with any real change in elevation: an out-of-state crew with no idea a foothills driveway needed a three-point turn, no read on a locked HOA move-in slot, no plan when a hailstorm hit mid-load.

2015: trucks of his own

So in 2015, Wade bought trucks instead of borrowing someone else’s, hired movers as employees instead of day labor, and drew one line in the sand: a flat rate, written, before anyone touches a box. Eleven years in, he’s still climbing onto the truck for mountain-town and high-rise jobs, and the office phone still rings through to him most Saturdays.

The altitude problem, explained

Cardboard and tape both give out sooner at 5,280 feet than they would at sea level, and a switchback driveway in the foothills calls for a different truck approach than a flat cul-de-sac. Crews train on both before a customer ever meets them.

With Epic vs. without

With Epic Without Epic
Same crew, same truck, start to finish Load handed to a different carrier midway
HOA move-in rules confirmed in advance Property office rules discovered on move day
Real mountain-town and high-rise experience Flatland-only routing
Registered CO carrier, USDOT/MC on file No paperwork, day labor

Colorado issued Epic its household goods carrier registration, and a certificate of insurance sits on file — nothing about your move passes through a broker or a subcontractor.
