Get Your Written Number

Tell us the two addresses and whether stairs or a gate code are involved, and Renee starts building your number the same afternoon.

Filling this out costs nothing, nobody rings you three times before dinner, and no mystery fee shows up on move day. Your request goes directly to our Walnut St office — Epic Movers staff answer it, not a national booking line.

Bethany and Renee hear these questions on repeat, everything from an HOA’s scheduling rulebook to why thin mountain air eats through packing tape. Missing one? The office takes calls directly.

Before you scroll further

Colorado has Epic on record as a household goods carrier, and every truck on the road carries a W-2 crew — nobody picked up for a single shift. A written number arrives before anything gets loaded.

Does Epic actually own its trucks, or does a broker pick up the job?
Epic owns every truck on the road and staffs each one with a W-2 employee. There's no matching platform in between — the crew that quotes your move drives it, too.
Why would altitude matter to how my boxes get packed?
Denver sits at 5,280 feet, and dry air there pulls moisture out of tape and cardboard faster than most out-of-state crews expect. Extra wrap rides on the truck as a default, never a surcharge.
What's a realistic price range for a local move here?
Two movers run $119 an hour, four run $205, or you can skip the clock entirely with a written flat rate — a Capitol Hill walk-up and a Highlands Ranch two-story don't cost the same.
My HOA locks a two-hour move-in window — can you work with that?
That's Cole's job days before your date arrives: call the property office, confirm the exact block, and build the crew's schedule so nobody idles at a locked gate.
Which parts of the metro does Epic actually reach?
Aurora, Lakewood, Westminster, Arvada, Highlands Ranch, and Littleton on the local side, plus interstate runs to Colorado Springs, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City, and Kansas City.
I'm in a Cherry Creek or downtown high-rise — is that a problem?
Not for us. The office reserves your building's elevator slot and confirms the loading-dock schedule ahead of time, so there's no truck sitting curbside waiting on a lobby callback.
Is Epic properly licensed to run in Colorado?
Yes — Colorado household goods carrier registration, USDOT and MC authority for interstate jobs, and cargo and liability coverage apply to every move we book.
Can your office send a certificate of insurance to my building?
Send Bethany your property manager's contact information and she'll get the certificate issued and the elevator access confirmed before move day.
What if I just need somewhere to store things for a month or two?
Climate-controlled units run about $100 to $240 monthly by size, and whichever crew picked up your load also handles the redelivery — no separate storage company involved.
How early should I lock a date before hailstorm season hits?
A week works for most local jobs. Push that to two or three weeks for a long-distance move, or for anything you're scheduling April through July, when a storm can rearrange our calendar fast.
Something got damaged in transit — what's the process?
Standard released-value coverage pays sixty cents a pound, full-value protection at one to three percent can be added ahead of time, and claims have a nine-month window with our office.
Do you take on office or commercial relocations too?
Regularly, including moves for Denver Tech Center aerospace and tech employers. Commercial jobs get quoted the same flat-rate way as a household move.

Built By A Denver Native

Wade spent years running crews for a regional van line before opening his own yard on Walnut St in 2015, and he still answers the phone on Saturdays.

A Number That Holds At 5,280 Feet

Renee builds your estimate around your actual stair count, your HOA's move-in window, and whatever the Front Range weather is doing that week, so nothing changes once the truck backs in.

Registered Colorado Carrier

$1M in cargo coverage rides along on every job we run out of the metro, and our certificate as a household goods carrier is on file for any building manager who asks.

No Subcontractors, Ever

Whoever wraps your couch in Denver rides the truck to Colorado Springs, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City, or wherever you're headed and carries it in themselves.

This is only a starting range — altitude, a narrow mountain driveway, or an HOA loading-dock rule can shift the final written number.

What Happens Between Your Call And Move Day

  1. 1
Tell Bethany what you're working with

Stairs, an HOA scheduling window, a narrow driveway — she logs it before your date ever hits the board.

  2. 2
Renee turns it into one number

Photos or a quick video walkthrough usually get you a written figure the same day, no hourly clock attached.

  3. 3
    Your slot gets held

Snow on the pass, hail in June, an HOA delay — whatever the Front Range does, your written price doesn't move.

  4. 4
Tucker's crew takes it from there

They trained on mountain-town driveways and steep Capitol Hill stairwells long before your job landed on the schedule.
